Who we are
The Niharika Bihar GS app opens the Bihar Study Portal of Niharika Online Learning Media (niharikaonlinelearning.in/mcq_portal/bihar.php). The app and website are owned and operated by Neha Bharti, Pabhera, Dhanarua, Patna, Bihar – 804451. This policy explains what information the app uses. The general privacy policy of the website is at niharikaonlinelearning.in/privacy.php.
Not a government app
Niharika Bihar GS is a private educational app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Government of Bihar, the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) or any other government body. Exam names are used only to describe the syllabus the material helps with.
What the app collects
Your account. To use the app you log in with your mobile number and email address. We email you a 6-digit code to confirm the address. We store your email address, mobile number, the date the account was created and your last login. Login codes are stored only in a one-way coded form and stop working after 10 minutes. So that you stay logged in, your phone keeps a login token for up to 180 days; our server keeps only a coded form of it.
Full Access. We store whether your account has Full Access and, for a payment, the amount, the date and the Razorpay order and payment IDs. Full Access is bought on our website, not in the app. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
Full-length tests. Before a full-length test the app asks for your name and mobile number:
- Name: shown on your result screen only. It stays on your phone and is not sent to our server.
- Mobile number: sent with your answers and the time taken, so that your score can be checked and your rank worked out. For ranking the server keeps only a one-way coded form of the number, together with your best score, the time for that score, the number of attempts and the date of your last attempt.
- Answers: used to mark the test. They are not stored after marking.
The app remembers your chosen text size on your phone. Like any website, our web server records technical request information (such as IP address and browser type) in its logs for security and fault-finding.
How we use it
- To log you in and show the parts of the app your account can open.
- To give Full Access after a payment, and to answer questions about payments.
- To mark your full-length tests and show your rank among all students who took the same test.
- To send login codes by email. We do not send marketing emails.
- To keep the website and app secure, including limits on how many codes can be requested.
We do not use the information for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers below or where the law requires. The app shows no advertisements.
Services from other companies
- Razorpay processes Full Access payments on our website (Razorpay privacy policy).
- Hostinger hosts the website and delivers our login-code emails.
- Google Fonts supplies the fonts used on the pages.
- Google Translate is used only if you choose “Other Indian languages” on a test page.
When Google’s services load, Google receives the technical request information that any website visit sends, under Google’s privacy policy.
Security and keeping data
All pages and test answers travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Rank records are kept for as long as the test is offered on the website, and are removed if the test is withdrawn.
Children
The app is meant for students preparing for state-level competitive exams. It is not designed for children under 13.
Your choices and deleting your data
You can log out at any time from My account (the 👤 button in the app). To delete your account, open My account and tap Delete my account, or open niharikaonlinelearning.in/app/account.php in a browser and log in. Deleting removes your email address, mobile number, login tokens and Full Access at once. The payment record (amount, date and Razorpay IDs) is kept for accounting as the law requires.
To have your test rank records removed, or if you cannot log in, email us with the mobile number you used. We will delete the matching records within 30 days.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
